Hello,
I have found a video which shows how to import the official Vex V5 parts library into OnShape. My concern is that when the parts list shows up there are numerous copies of parts included in the list. How can I filter these copies out so that I get just the original parts to use? TIA!
Yes, that seems to be a problem caused by people making public copies of the official document. I’d recommend installing the app instead:
The process for inserting parts will be a little bit different from the instructions you may be following, but I’ve found that it works well.

please explain
Once you’ve installed the app, you should see a little red V5 button on the right side of the window. Click that, find your part, configure it if necessary, and click “Insert Part Studio.” I think this only works in a browser, not on a mobile device.
The other way, that doesn’t use the app, is to follow the instructions here:
or at minute 17 here:
Make sure you follow the directions exactly, clicking the drop-down arrow and entering " Official VEX V5 Library" in the Description field, not just in the search box. The files you select should be only those owned by Onshape. Then you can insert into the assemblies with the “insert” button as described later in both of these resources.
For the original poster: my guess is that you accidentally labeled too many files with your “V5 Parts” label. If so, you’ll need to go back to your documents page, select “labels” from the menu on the left, select your label, hover over any files not owned by Onshape, click the “label” icon, and remove the label you made.
