My team doesn’t know how to use any CAD softwares or which ones to use, does anyone have any tips on how to use cad in general?
And if cad turns out to be too difficult or time consuming, what are the alternatives?
Use protobot if you have never cadded before as it is really easy to start with, but Fusion 360 is better.

I personally use onshape because it is free and you dont have to install it. It can lag on not great pc’s and laptops tho. Otherwise I would use protobot rebuilt on github or fusion 360 (If I had It)

I use Onshape, and it has been very successful for me. It can be run on the web and can be run on basically any device.

the way i learned to cad with onshape was with this very helpful youtube tutorial playlist by a youtuber i forgor the name but it was called jerry polardy or coach polardy. it goes through evrything including downloading onshape, downloading the parts, and basically how to do literally anything u need so definitely try that out. now cadding is very easy for me
