When we are updating the firmware to Joystick, it comes up "No communication link available to VEX device. Check that your device is connected to the PC.
There is no problem to update the firmware in Cortex.
Can anyone suggest how to solve the problem?
It’s possible that your Joystick needs to be reset to factory settings.
To do that you will have to install the VEXnet Upgrade Utility found here:
Once installed you should be able to just connect your Joystick to the PC using your orange USB A-to-A cable and download firmware into your Joystick. Make sure that you close your other program before you attempt to use the VEXnet Upgrade Utility.
