No driver found

[SOLVED]

Hello,
I already made a thread at Technical Discussion (http://www.vexiqforum.com/forum/main…=1436071926448) but thought I should try here.
When installing Vex Firmware Update, the install completes but a notification pops up that Windows failed to install drivers: Imgur: The magic of the Internet
I’ve tried:
-Reinstalling Vex Firmware Update
-Uninstalling the devices from Device Manager
-Reinstalling Windows 7
-Updating everything I can think of
Nothing seems to help.
edit: Now when trying to install the program what pops up is “Ethernet Controller”, again no driver found.

Hi dm89132,

We’re sorry that you have encountered this issue. As you have already solved this issue by reinstalling your USB Host Controller driver, we can help provide some additional information for your reference.

The Standard Universal PCI to USB Host Controller driver is used to allow the motherboard in your computer to communicate with the USB port hardware in your computer, which in this case is internally connected by a PCI port. If you reinstall Windows, you might need to manually reinstall this driver to enable all USB devices to work again. Once this driver is installed and running, your computer can communicate with the USB hardware ports on your computer. This driver is not included with the VEX IQ Firmware Update Utility installer.

There is a separate VEX IQ specific driver that allows your computer to recognize and communicate with the VEX IQ Robot Brain. This is the driver that is installed along with the VEX IQ Firmware Update Utility. This driver needs to have a working USB Host Controller driver on your computer to allow it to communicate via the USB ports on your computer.
