Hi, I’m wondering if it is legal or not to use Non Vex screws on my robot.
I really want to use square headed screws for my robot.

Starting this year it is. Here is the relevant rule from the gateway manual.
**<R7>**Robots are allowed the following additional “non-VEX” components:
c. Any 6-32, 8-32, M3 or M4 screw up to 2" long, and any commercially available nut to fit these screws.
