Nonfunctional Decoration

Does anyone else really like decals and other nonfunctional decoration? I just spent a couple of hours on these decals (teammates’ names censored), because the custom gradient was really hard to get right, but it should look slick on our robot. The square decal will go on the back of our DR4B, and the two triangular ones will go under our triangle bracing on our towers. We also have red LEDs that we are putting underneath our drive. Our rubber bands are red, as well. Yeah, we better be on the first alliance in eliminations, or we will have all the wrong types of team spirit. :stuck_out_tongue: How do you guys like to decorate your robots?

We just get laser engraved nameplates for the robot since we have a laser engraver. The robot is named Eleanor, and sorry I don’t have pics right now. Are you planning on printing those designs out and putting them behind Lexan @Aponthis ?

We usually just laminate them.

That’s okay, as long as I end up with the first seed alliance for eliminations!

If anyone cared, I decided to put all the text in white and say our school name instead of putting our team logo. Red and yellow was too jarring!

I agree on the red and yellow thing, and white will look pretty clean too.
