Girls  Robotics: Inspiring Young Women in California!
The REC Foundation has a long history of supporting and advancing young women in robotics engineering. Over the past several years, the Foundation has made grants available to start new all-girl teams across the country. Today approximately a quarter of the students involved in the program are girls. In California, a specific initiative to further advance girls in robotics has taken shape with the support of a number of organizations. The effort in California had its first official kick-off event on October 11, 2014. To learn more please visit RoboticsEducation.org.
