Old VEXplorer Parts?

Does anyone have any parts from the old VEXplorer kit? Specifically the VEXplorer wheels and the 48 tooth gears that were on it.

The new VEXplorer kit is tank tread and the wheels and gears are no longer available on the site.

So if you have them let me know here or PM me! Name your price!

Hey Nick,

610 (the organization, not specifically 610X which is a student-run team) has two complete old VEXplorer kits without original packaging, but essentially brand new. The two kits have (in total) 20 48-tooth gears (again, never used) with the various old 2-wire motors (can’t remember the name of them, they are older than 292’s), other red gears, structural pieces, fastners, bearings, shafts, cameras, T.V. adapters, specific receivers, and specific micro controllers. We would be able to spare some wheels (silver spokes with a black hexagonal tread pattern, right?) as we have 10+ kits worth of those but we still use them with the claws from the kit for part of our Grade 9 Introduction to Technology course.

Are you interested in the two complete kits (sexy black anodized structural components included) minus the claws or do you only want the gears and as many wheels as we can spare? Having asked the mentor in charge of these kits about it, he would rather be rid of the whole sets than just the wheels and gears. All we want in terms of payment is enough to cover shipping. We are located in Toronto.

Are those motors VEX Legal? I was interested in maybe ordering a few to use in applications where we wanted low-profile or light-weight motors.

No they are not. I do not believe you could control them through VEXnet and also…

I wasn’t sure if they counted as electronics. Thanks, though.
