Omaha?

So who’s going to be there? I havent seen much talk of it on here. Have people dubbed it too expensive considering many teams are also qualified for Dallas? Being from Indiana it’s drivable for me. We’re team 3500 and will be there tomorrow. I’m happy to work with anyone on scouting and tool/ equipment sharing. See you there!!

We would love to go, but both are airplane trips and we can’t afford both. Take lots of pictures. Make video. Post detailed reports!

The goats will be happy to see our friends from Evansville there since i don’t know any one else who will be there. Good luck and if you really want to work on scouting then you can be part of our database. Thanks. You’ll have to visit our pits 829.

Our freshmen team, Divide By Zero - 1300 will be there. We would like to be there but we have several team members taking the ACT during that time, terrible planning on my team members part

All five ACME teams will be there:

12a - Weather Makers
12b - Sand Crawlers
12c - Vexy Things
12d - Steel Panthers
12e - Easily Distracted

They will also be in Dallas. Looking forward to meeting all of you.

Keep an eye out for the A-Team…first year with vex too lol
Wish us luck!

Wow, that’s some good fundraising.

FYI: There is a link to the webcast of the Championship of the Americas event on the front page of www.robotevents.com

The event should start broadcasting tomorrow (Friday), I would imagine.

Very nice article on Yahoo about this event!!

Enjoy!

I’ve seen these guys in action at two different Pennsyvania events, there should be some pretty good matches in Omaha.

Yes, how foolish of us to want to get into college.

where do i find match results/standings for this tourney

First of all, I said MY team members. Secondly, there are many times that the ACT can be taken.

Your teams are looking good in the streaming video. Did I just watch 12e take a 2-robot alliance to a tie in a 1-on-2 match? Impressive.

(Consider yourself scouted!)

Is anyone else having trouble with the streaming feed? It acts like the server is swamped.

My guesses… I haven’t been following too closely, so they’re not gonna be very accurate. It’s always fun to make predictions though.

Quarter:
1v8 - gonna be close
4v5
2v7 - gonna be close
3v6

Semi:
8v4
6v7

Finals
4v6

Yeah I’m having a lot of problem while watching the stream but i’m also loving it, the championship has a lot of nice bots! \o:D

Sorry for misinterpreting the idiosyncratic language

…Dallas.

Does anyone know of video or pictures posted of the CotA event? Thanks.
