Omni Dry-out

Some of the green rubber rollers on our Omni wheels are cracking and splitting.
It is as though they are drying out? Is there some kind of oil or something we can do to solve or minimize this.

I don’t think I have heard of this problem before. Can you post some pictures?

I don’t think there is much you can do to repair it, as it is probably due to the age of the rubber and conditions it was exposed to. How old are the wheels? Where they in direct sunlight for an extended period of time?

I too would be interested to see a picture.

Edit: Here is some interesting information, I’m wondering this is what’s happening.

These may be older, I don’t know how long the small double Onmi 2.75" has been around. Mostly stored in boxes in garage, some freezing in the winter. Clothes washer hoses are of ozone resistant rubber; because of proximity of the motor in the washer. No washer in the garage. The crack seems to be along what I assumed to be the parting line from the mold. They seem to preform ok until they fall off then we replace the roller.
