would my robot be 2 hard 2 drive with omni wheel on front and back
This is not the kind of question that can be asked in the official tech support forum. I have moved it into the general forum where other Vex community members can help answer it.
You can easily drive a robot with 4 omnis. A good drive base for omnis would be holonomic.
it would be holowhat
A holonomic drive has four omni wheels mounted in the corners of the chassis at a 45 degree angle in relation to each side of the chassis. I believe there is some video somewhere…
Just check youtube for a video and search google for images. I am sure that there are a couple of images in the vex gallery that demonstrate the holomonix drive.

oooooooooooooo thanks.
Also you should upload a pic of your robot to show us what you really mean.
i was deciding wether or not it would be a good or bad idea to order 4 if it would be hard to drive. (i don’t have them)
(simple squarebot) 4wd or 2wd
unless you are doing a holonomic drive it is kind of pointless to use 4WD omni drive, a couple of them would help driving yes, just smoother turning
