I know some people have voiced concerns about voting that’s not in the spirit of the competition (i.e. people giving the lowest score to other entries besides their own). I read somewhere that the votes are reviewed at the end to get rid of multiple votes by the same person - do the judges also eliminate these kinds of downvotes? Or are they just something we have to live with? It would be nice to know that the people who do that aren’t rewarded in any way, although I guess it could be tricky to decide which votes are legitimate.
We cannot respond to questions about the public vote counting process. I can say that the results of public voting are taken into account by the judges when picking the 10 finalists in each category.
