Our team recently bought two of the Quadrature Optical Shaft Encoders. One of them seems half-DoA. One of the sensors reads the rotation fine, but the second doesn’t return any values. Is there any way to fix this or should we just contact Vex and talk to them about a possible return?
Did you open them up to see if something was blocking one of the optical encoders…
If you are sure that there is nothing physical blocking the Sensors, and reversed the Inputs into the Vex Controller (to check for mis-configurations) then I would look into getting an RMA number from VexLabs…
