Our autonomous keeps does not execute the same each time and since adding scaffolding wheel won't go straight

We beefed up our robot and added a middle wheel so that it will scaffold. I am not sure I have that spelled correctly, but it moves to the side with this wheel. Since then, we can’t get our robot to turn for autonomous and it is not consistent. We tried caution tape, but does not seem to help. I will post the code tomorrow when I have the boys. We are at a brick wall.

Omnidirectional or holonomic movement is called strafing (strafe). Pls post your code as soon as you have it. That will help us help you. Good luck.

I’m guessing that you mean strafing wheel, like an H-Drive, so I will just go with that. I am more of a mechanical guy, and since you don’t have you’re code up yet, ill work with what I got. My first suggestion would be to make sure that your center wheel is perfectly in the middle between both drive sides and perfectly in the middle between both drive wheels (Like if the center of an “H”, where the middle line is perfectly centered. Next thing I would say is make sure that the new wheel is not rubbing and at the exact same height as the other wheels. Keep us updated!
