We just score 918 skills in total but our judges said we are not the home team so we can not legally have that. So now we are stuck with a 514 what do we do? Is this legal?

First up, referees do scoring, judges give out awards.
Can you tell us at what event.
Can you tell us what your programming and drivers scores were (assuming that you did multiple runs)
Can you tell us the exact words around “not the home team”

I believe that it means that they aren’t part of the event partner’s organization.
As an EP, I don’t think that’s allowed.

That’s probably common sense, if more details are given, a report can be made to RECF
Yes this is completely illegal I don’t know if this is true or just spam, but if it is true make an official complaint to RECF
