Welcome to the forums. If you are asking if it is legal, remember that the manual tells you things you must do and things you must not do, not things you should or might do. Yes, it is legal to gross the long barrier to enter the other offensive zone. If you are asking if it is possible to design a robot that can cross the barrier, well of course it is! There are many robot reveals on YouTube that showcase robots that are capable of this. Some important points are barrier sleds or ramps, a drivetrain that is fast enough, and not having large gears inbetween the wheels. Good luck designing!
