So my team was trying to replicate this claw, https://www.youtube.com/shorts/qRboQSCL54E But when we did, the locking was terrible and that we couldn’t make it stay in its starting position, so if anyone knows how to fix this, then it would be much appreciated
The blue screw helps it stay in its starting position and from rotating clockwise.
The red arrow shows the direction of rotation that the mechanism completes as it locks, due to the initial rotation caused by pushing the standoff. This positions the rubber band on the opposite side, and then pulling in the direction of the arrow.
