Okay, so we recently painted our Omni wheels, but we’re curious about mecanums. Another team from our organization was wondering if anyone has ever attempted to paint their mecanum wheels. If anyone has, feel free to let us know how it went, if you would recommend it, and how you did it.
I’ll need to dig for pictures, but there was a team that painted the plastic around the wheels. As I recall, they used a small modelers brush and hand painted them gold (team colors were gold and green). I’m going to guess that it will take an hour to do all of them (no sense in painting the insides)

Though i’ve only painted omnis, If you want to paint the mecanum wheels it should actually be easier than omnis.
the rollers come off some how with a screw some where or something. that’ll leave you with just the casing and a ton of loose rollers. paint the casing and put it back to together and you should be good to go 
I did it last year over the summer and it is definitely a lot easier than painting omnis. You can just slide off the ends on the mecanum wheels and then spray paint it/paint it
