So I want to thank everyone who helped us out with our little hotel problem on the last thread I created. I’m sorry I didn’t answer a lot, but we’ve been really busy working on all aspects of the team and robot. We got a lot of useful information and have secured flights and accommodation for the whole team!
However, our sponsor which helped us out with the tickets to Louisville made a mistake and bough tickets to St. Louis. We’ve rented a car to take 7 of our members and our luggage with them on the 4 hour trip to Kentucky. That means that a student and I are currently stranded in St. Louis from the 18th of April till the 24th of April, which is when our flights arrive and depart (10:00PM and 5:00PM respectively). We’ve already looked at Amtrack (all trains appear to go to Chicago and then transfer to a bus on those dates), plane tickets (nearly 1k with those dates and our sponsor can’t change the destination because of the price) and Greyhound (they take around 10 hours to reach Louisville and 7 hours back to St. Louis).
Is there any team or people who will be travelling from St. Louis to Louisville and back again during those dates who would be willing to take 2 more people with them?
