What are the parts we might for building a robot at minimum, this is first time at challenge, just wondering
what are the moters/encoders/sensers we might for the same.
thanks.

Designing a robot is something that you need to work out with your own team; this is a major part of Vex Robotics Competition. But in terms of parts, here are a couple things that I think are pretty darn useful when making any robot.
1: C channels, usually one of the most common components in VRC
2, Wing nuts, my personal favorite type of nut. They screw on long screws super easily, and you usually only need 1 tool to build with them.
3, 393 motors, why would you ever use a 269 motor?
4, Integrated motor encoders. These are super useful because they don’t take up any of your sensor ports on you cortex. They are chain linked in I2C, so you can use your precious sensor ports for other sensors.
I mean, pretty much everything on Vex’s website is really useful, so it’s worth just rummaging around and seeing what you need based on your design.
