I get a permission denied errror.
The info box at the bottom of the pages states:
You may post new threads
You may post replies
You may post attachments
You may edit your posts
Remember, since the spot where this was posted was “EasyC Technical Support Q&A Ask EasyC Support Questions Here – Get Answers from the Experts!”
I believe that means only “EasyC Experts” are allowed to post replies to threads in this area.

To “imply” that, it would have to be a whole lot more subtle than it is. :rolleyes: It *says *that you are allowed to post. However, it’s just plain wrong. I’ve run into this myself. There are several restricted fora, but the permissions a user gets displayed do not seem to differ among fora.

I have noticed this multiple time before when attempting to post. Is there any accepted way of responding to someone’s thread in an Official section of the forum? Often, I feel that someone on the forum has an answer to the poster’s question, but they can’t help them.
I have seen people make a new thread in a public section called “RE: {insert original thread title here}” and post their answer there.
I try to avoid posting things in the experts forums unless everybody has had a chance to answer. Usually somebody here will know the answer.
