persisting cortex communication problems!

with the new cortex bundle we are experiencing problems, i have tried posting about this in the past and got no answers which helped. so i am here again.

the micro controller is running 2.6 firmware and the joystick is 2.3, both are the newest available, and programing with the newest version of easy c.

they communicate fine with the A - A usb cable but on wireless it will keep disconnecting. we also do not seem to have a problem with the old vexnet upgrade bundle.

if there are any solutions for this that would be great.

Mike,
Could be router interference. Here is an excerpt from a Vex email re this:

If you have problems with VEXnet, it may be the keys or you may be in a high 4 GHz area. We had one school with a CISCO router that had “Rogue Network Detection”, basically a search and destroy. If you have this, we have a VEXnet MAC Utility at https://vexforum.com/wiki/index.php/Software_Downloads that will read the MAC addresses of your keys. You then take the list to the IT department so they will be given permission to create and operate networks.
