Thanks! as @enothecool says, it is meant to inspire students. Nothing more stunning that seeing little rooster extend over the heads of 6th graders - and big rooster extend higher than the shelving unit. Both are remarkably stable, very well balanced.

My team made a google document just for quotes during our summer build sessions. Here are some of the less offensive ones.
“Don’t make me lick you”
“beep beep lechuga”
“Would that take my head off?” “I hope.”

“Is this what ‘nam sounded like?” runs drill aggressively
“Nothing like some motor on a cold winter day”

Although it is an attainable goal - I would reframe and life dream more broadly - Make a difference.
The journey is an interesting one for me - dropped out of college and then met a great group who were out to make a difference. That vector led me to 13 years at MIT - now a middle school teacher and still trying to make a difference.

“My grandmother’s not a rope.”
So during starstruck I was using rope to build a lift (I know, a very bad idea), and the rope was not going in the hole in the metal. So I got mad and said something along the lines of “you stupid rope why won’t you go in.”
My teammate who was helping and said “Would you say that to your grandmother?”
I swiftly replied “No, My grandmother’s not a rope.”
And then my coach (my teammates dad) started laughing and still to this day their whole family still jokes about my grandmother being a rope. So now when ever I make a point my teammates always say “At least my grandmother’s not a rope.” And insist I am 1/4 rope on my grandmother’s side.
Also another random one is: “It feels like a Monday, but on a Tuesday, but on a Wednesday, but on a Thursday, but on a Friday, but on a Saturday, but on a Sunday sorta day.”
