My team is attempting to build a slide pto of our diffy (yes two days before worlds we’re cutting it close) However we have had some difficulty does anyone have photos?

A differentail PTO is a PTO utilizing differentail gears. However, a slide pto slides a gear to change what it’s powering.
Yes; I am aware of differential and slide PTOs. I was just wondering what this specific wording meant.

Also, if you are looking to make a Slide PTO two days before worlds, it will be very difficult because Slide PTOs require high-precision building and fine-tuning. (The smallest bend in a shaft can break the PTO entirely, and it is often required to sand the shafts in order to slide the gears; sanding is illegal. At our states comp, a #2 team’s slide PTO broke in the middle of their finals match, meaning both their team and their #1 team alliance did not make it to worlds.) I recommend using a Diffy PTO which is easier to build, does not need pneumatics, and just requires shafts to be straight. Diffy PTOs are way more reliable and rarely break.

Sand the shafts? I don’t know how your making your PTO’s but if you make them right I can assure you that is not necassary.
