Our region is having states this Saturday and my school is hosting states so we thought it would be cool to make a pin art of our teams school logo and put it on the back of our robot. I just want to check if this is legal because there are many robots that have pin arts on the back of them and still compete.
Take a look at rule R8 in the game manual and see what you think. Then you’ll know for yourself, instead of trusting what other teams are doing and wondering if it’s legal or not:

Check the rules for non function decorations. You should be good to go if the art is amazing to look at, but doesn’t add any features.

It is legal because the pin art has no function that can give us an advantage in a match so we are all set
Thanks for the info, I just wanted to make sure this was legal because we have won the past 3 competitions so we have a very high chance of winning states but don’t want to be disqualified for something like pin art
The pin art on the back of the robot also acts as a cover for our bots pneumatic system so when we are in a interview, we can just pop the cover off and the judges can see our pneumatic systems.
