Placing star/cube while hanging

Rookie mentor with a rookie team here. I’ve looked through the forums and read the Game manual pages 7 and 9 repeatedly. Can our Alliance score additional points by 1. hanging in autonomous with pre-loaded star (+2 pts bc it’s in the far zone?) 2. Score additional points by placing cube onto a bot which is on the Alliance Starting Tile with less than 30 seconds left in the Driver Controlled period and then completing a high hang (12+4 pts bc it’s in the far zone?).

    To be considered scored in the far zone these game objects have to be in your far zone, i.e. they have to be on the other side of the field.
    P.S. How do you even hang with a cube? That thing is massive!
