Sorry that I posted on the other thingy.
So basically the problem is when my double reverse four bar goes up and then the scissor lift for the mobile goals comes out, the motor controller stops. All I can see is a motor turning in the middle of the left side on the left of the left c channel for the left side of the double reverse four bar. Please help this as I don’t understand why I can’t drive. When I do this on the green wheel for the right side on the angle c channel bracket with a gusset the motor just squeals, kinda like a pig. It’s very weird I can’t understand why. Please help. Thanks

i think the problem is in your build of the scissorlift with the green wheel and squeeling like a pig maybe you should replace the right side with the angle c channel bracket woth a gusset and replace it woth a super c channel with screws and a bracket to help mount that way it cant green wheel screw like a pig

Ok so I just tried plugging in the motor. This made it so I can now hear the right side of the green wheel on the scissor lift. But I still can’t understand why my motor on the left side of the left c channel on my left double reverse four bar keeps squealing. The squeal is very high pitched and I can’t see where the motor cortex coupler goes into the wheel on the right. What happens to this? How can I try this now? Thanks

I would suggest posting pictures. I am having trouble visualizing a scissor lift for the mogo and the motor cortex coupler. A youtube video would also be nice to we can evaluate the squealing as it might possibly be more cat like than pig

Btw I seriously dont understand of a scissor lift for a mobile goal works unless it can come all the way down, scoop up a mogo and raise it?

A youtube video or at the very least pictures would be very helpful for anyone to attempt solving your problem. I am also having a difficult time envisioning a sideways scissor lift.

ok ill explain it again, but i cant post videos because i dont want people copying my idea for the mobile goal lift. basically when i lift my double reverse four bar, the mobile goal lift on the left, not the right, but in the middle. so when i do that i cant put the mobile goal in, like basically the whole robot stops. the whole robot doesnt inclue the whole robot but it includes just the mobile goal mechanism. this makes it so the cortex on the left side spins crotex as in motor, rapidly and it squeals. the squeal of the coupler on the motor is a pig, and i dont know why it squeals. this is a big problem, because at my competition it severely limited my ability so score. thanks.

i had the same problem as you while building a double reverse 4 bar for my mogo lift while the dr4b would squeel like a horse i can relate to your issues and dont wurry you can get through

i am confusion, am i supposed to plug in the 2 wire battery to the 3 wire cortex battery left digital port on the left side toward the middle of the cortex, ill send a picture of what i mean. would this solve my problem? its not the one with the wire, its the one parallel to the perpindicular on the line that its on.

its basically parallel to the line that the motor wire is in and perpindicular to the port 4 down on the right side.

For Motors: Ports 2-9 are 3 wires and require motor controllers. Ports 1 and 10 are two wire ports that do NOT require motor controllers

a mogo scissor lift? … do you mean 4-bar? I have a hard time picturing a scissor lift for a mogo, it just doesn’t sound like it would work. if you want us to help you, you’ve gotta post pictures

??? soo… if you lift your dr4b, your left side of your mobile goal lift rises, in the middle…? and the whole robot, but not the whole robot stops? just the mogo lift? so… your mogo lift moves with your dr4b, and gets stuck in the middle? what do you mean by cortex on the left side spins cortex as in motor, rapidly and it squeals? pictures would really help, as would a clear definition on what’s going wrong…

You gotta post the info. But tbh if you are having this many problems with your design I doubt anyone would want to copy it.

But seriously, for the best help on the forums, you’re going to need to post a couple pictures, nothing too revealing, just so we can get a general idea of the mechanism.

I apologize if I’m wrong, but I really think this guy’s a troll. He’s talking about a scissor lift mogo lift, contradicts his own statements in the same post, and won’t post pictures because he “doesn’t want anyone copying his design…”
