Pneumatic Nuts legality

How exactly is it determined whether a Pneumatic nut is legal or not? I’m a bit confused so could someone clear this up (What size, make, etc).

As long as the nut is taken off of a pneumatic air reservoir it is fine.

What makes the nut from the air Reservoir legal is that it came from the air reservoir. Specifically, it is a 3/4 - 16 thin jam nut. But before you go off hunting down one of these nuts because you think shooting big nuts across the field is the best method, please refer to this similar thread (which you would have found by putting your question into the search bar)
