Should we use light pneumatic oil on the Vex system internals? Thinking a couple of drops in the reservoir. Worried it could plug the valve orifices??
It shouldn’t be necessary, but you will probably be fine.
There is no reason to do this and what would you gain by even doing this?
Oiling systems on air supplies in workshops are there to lubricate high speed tools. That’s not what you’ve got here. I would expect the main effect of introducing lubricant to a vex air system to be failure of push/friction fit connections.

And once the oil got old and gummed up… you would have a whole new set of problems.
