Is it normal to lose some air pressure after using the piston or did me and my team mess up something with it?
Well no not technically you will lose air but shouldn’t be able to hear it and it shouldn’t be a constant stream. Could you send a video of it happening so I can hear it or a photo?
Yes it’s very normal to lose psi the solenoids have to release air when it’s deactivated. However losing 10 psi on each actuation probably means you have a leak assuming it’s one piston.
Do you lose a LOT of pressure? If you do check for any leaks on your solenoids, fittings or your pistons, and see if your tubing is properly cut (check for any tube that is vertically cut)
It is completely normal, in fact it is so normal that if you didn’t lose air pressure that would be considered weird.
yeah. its normal. when the pistons go to extend or contract it has to release the air that is holding it in the other direction. its not like a hydraulic system. there is a reason you have to fill it up before each match.
Yes, every time you actuate an air cylinder, it uses some of your pressure up
Yes, the piston lets the air out of valves to retract/extend… But every time you use a piston you will lose some air.
