I have a total of 4 cylinders on my robot. 3 are single acting and one is a 25mm double acting. I’m trying to set it up for 40psi on the double acting cylinder and still keep it to 100 psi on the rest of the system. I have tried using one of the old pressure regulators but those regulate the pressure across the whole system. I can try to use a flow valve on the cylinder but I would like to limit the pressure instead of the flow if possible
Apologies for the jank diagram, but here’s how I would do it. I do recommend using the new one if you have it, since it has an air meter on it, making it easier to tune exactly to 40 psi.
That depends on where you place it. In the diagram above, the single acting solenoid bypasses the pressure regulator (since it’s not connected to the blue port on the regulator), and hence is connected to the 100 psi airflow.
