I’ve decided to post this on the forums because perhaps someone will take the idea or, at least, someone will learn from it. This is something I whipped up in blender a long time ago and never saw the use of, so here it is. the two attached images are the drive train in the two configs. Really, not useful for competition. But cool nevertheless.
Very unique and truly innovating, nice job! Our drive train isn’t complex like that, but keep up the good work!
Ironically one of my sister teams last year made a shifting x-drive because he wanted the mobility to clear the field fast but needed to torque to climb ramps for high lifting.
