I was just wondering whether other people had success with pneumatics. I saw some very good uses in Full Volume but I’m wondering whether the cost will be worth it for Rapid Relay. Any suggestions would be really appreciated
For the 100 ish dollars, pneumatics is beyond worth it. For example, in full volume in the MS dome only 1 team of the 10 didn’t use it.

If you want to build PTOs, this in neccarry.
Not really, because you can use a directional switch. However, pneumatics makes it way better.

Yeah, but directional wouldn’t allow you to drive backwards.

you could use Pneumatics to change the launch angle of whatever shooter you decide.

That is true. Just trying to clarify its not impossible without, just prefered.
Why is using a directional switch peffered over a pnumatic PTO if the main uses of PTOs are in drivetrains?
I thought PTOs (with or without pneumatics) mainly get used for motor sharing in different mechanisms like arms, claws, etc.
How do you use them with a drivetrain?
Most IQ Ptos are not drivetrain ptos, they are more similar to just a pnuematic powered gravity gear (direction switch)
