We’re having problems with what seems to be a ghost in or pneumatics system or we have a pump that builds pressure when it wants to. Anyone figure out a way to test the output of the pump? You can hear when it bogs down and is building pressure too and when it is just running to fill but never gets there. I’ve triple checked for kinked or loose lines. Swapped some lines and sometimes it works for a bit again, then goes into limp mode again.
Also, thoroughly confused by the green lights on the solenoid. Sometimes they are off, sometimes on, always flash on off when trigger with a button. Should they be green all the time if solenoid is ready and at pressure? Or be off all the time until fired upon? Need a detailed manual on these things.
They have these library articles on how to use them:
green means air cylinder is extended, off means retracted. A fast flashing green would indicate an error condition.
So I went through everything everyone sent and it all checks out. The only thing I wonder is I am running it on a gen 1 brain. It is on latest firmware. But pump still seems to sometimes build pressure and sometimes it doesn’t. Most the time it doesn’t now. Anyone have any ideas for putting a little psi gauge on it to validate my concerns?
There’s little to the firmware control for the pump, it’s either on or off.
check the battery, a low voltage or old battery may not be able to run the pump well.
check for good connection between the pump and the control solenoid.
check for air leaks.
