Hey, so basically we got a problem in our pneumatics system , precisely a leak which we recently found out that it’s in the doubke acting solenoid . And even if i tries to fix putting some ruban on it it didn’t work whaat can i dooooo?
Could I see a picture or image of your setup? Here are some general things that you can try:
1.Tighten all of the fittings on the solenoid
2.Try replacing all of the tubing (if your tubing is cut at a right angle it may be causing leaks between your tubing and fitting
3.If you have a another solenoid try replacing the leaky one and see if the leak is fixed
Before you do anything crazy and start replacing things and using tape (ruban is tape right?) always always always start with the basics:
Take your tube out, make sure the fittings are tightened. Finger tight is fine! don’t go nuts with pliers etc. you’ll only destroy the little rubber o-ring (oh yes make sure the little rubber o-ring is not missing between fitting and cylinder ) and cause a bigger leak.
Then re-cut the end of the tube (just cut 1-2 mm off no need for more) but make sure the cut is STRAIGHT (perpendicular, square, whatever you want to call it). Not under an angle. It’s the most critical part as the end of the tube makes the seal.
New pneumatic kit comes with a cutter that does a good job. If you don’t have one we use the VEX crimping tool (or any other crimping tool with a blade will do). If not, just use an Exacto knife or a utility knife. Heck, any blade, just CUT STRAIGHT.
The next crucial step is shoving the tube all the way. I’ve seen people pushing the tube in only half way which causes leaks. Again, the end of the tube has to touch the very bottom of the fitting. It’s what makes the seal.
And only after you made sure those basic steps were followed to the best of your ability, then and only then you start panicking and replacing stuff.

I’ve used Teflon tape before with success so I would recommend it in moderation
be warned if you over tighten Pneumatics they break really easily it has happened to me numerous times
