In your opinion would you think that meta bots or innovated bots that went off the normal path of building succeeded more in completions and in general.
Innovative bots that did well became meta bots. Just look at 1095R’s intake design, basically every single descore bot at worlds stole it, and descore bots were only popular because of the innovation they did.
If you have to follow a poll - well just not a great engineering practice… just saying

In my opinion, a lot of the innovation happens in match play. For example, when 5203 implemented a new starvation strat, they won a large sig. When a meta-bot emerges, it will come down to strategy to separate the good from the great.
