Polycarbonate Cutting

What is the most efficient way to use all of your polycarbonate in a flex-wheel intake?

Probably either for an intake ramp or at the top to push the rings down.

idk why you want to use all of ur plastic but @robotics11 is right a large ramp/back board for your intake. if you choose to do this i would make sure to scuff the plastic with some light grit sandpaper as it helps objecs slide alot better reduscing hte torqure recuirments to move the rings up the robot. you could also use decorative skirts if ur just dying to use some plastic. team 5090x literally coverd their enitre SU robot in plastic as decorative purpouse only. still cant beleive it was allowed to pass inspection at worlds. or you can make some fancy custom gussets or other fancy parts kindof liek 946w

Sorry, I worded it wrong. I didn’t mean how to use all of your polycarbonate, I meant how to use the polycarbonate to build the most efficient intake. I wasn’t thinking clearly.

Then probably just for the intake ramp, I don’t think there is any other major way to use polycarbonate for the intake.

To be efficient with it you could cut out middle sections of the polycarbonate leaving side rails for the rings to ride on and the occasional bridge across the middle to help support it. Like my team is building a hood intake and we have an H-shaped piece of the front of the intake.
