So i plan on going to my local home depot to get polycarbonate, and what thickness should i get, the most thin sheet I could find, was 0.09 inches, will the ref’s microcheck the thickness of the polycarb or does it really not matter?
1/16" polycarbonate sheets are so easily available that there isn’t really any reason or excuse to get something thicker than the legal limit. For instance Robosource sells them quite affordably: VEX Robotics Polycarbonate & ABS Plastic Sheets - Robosource.net - Robosource.net. They even run periodic promos for several free sheets with another order.

The dimensions as stated in the manual are final, and if you exceed past that amount I believe they will make you take off all polycarbonate from your robot at a competition, (12" x 24" x 0.0625" (1/16") are the dimensions as stated in the game manual). If you are looking to buy VEX Legal Polycarbonate, I suggest you check Robosource for it, they do charge shipping, so if you are looking to not pay for shipping, you could check amazon because that’s where I did buy mine. Are they reliable, will the shipping come in two days, if I put the order in for two?
Reliable? Yes.
Will it get there in 2 days? Maybe.
Order Processing Times & Stock Status
Most orders are processed and shipped the same or the next business day. Some items on your order may be out of stock at the time of ordering, and due to technical limitations, this may not be accurately displayed on the website at all times.
You have a better chance of it shipping out today if you order this morning, I’d say.

Any order that has “2 Day Shipping” as the selected option will be delivered within 2 days or less from when it is shipped, however depending on what time of day the order is placed, we might have already run that day’s batch of orders. Your best bet if you need something quickly is to send us an email after you place your order, and as long as we’re still in the office we can get the order shipped out that day.
