Port Connection

Hi, is there a way in RobotC to check if a cable is connected to cortex and if it is working? For example, if I connect a motor to port 3, can I use RobotC to check if port 3 is connected with something?

I think that the debugger window would be a good solution to solve your problems

Thanks. But I want to be able to put each port connection status on LCD. Is there a way to do it?

you can do something like
if sensorValue(limitswitch) = 1
{

displayLCDPos(0, 0);
displayNextLCDString(“Limit Switch Is Plugged in”);
}

else
{
displayLCDPos(0, 0);
displayNextLCDString(“Limit Switch Is not Plugged in”);
}

Im sure there are syntax errors in this but this is the general concept
