Possible High stakes rule change

Personally from what I’ve seen from MOA is that currently high stakes is very corner based and generally only involves around just the mogos being pushed around. Very little are the wall stakes actually used and the lack of climbing past the first tier is crazy, but all of this is understandable. In order for teams to actually start to value the wall stakes and more so climbing this game is going to need a major update. Heres what I was thinking:

When somebody climbs the ladder to the first, second, and third tier then they will get 3,6 or 12 points. What I think should happen is that all of these point values stay but in addition to this if you climb to the second tier then there will be a 2 times multiplier to that teams rings on the wall stakes and with the 3rd tier it would be a 3 times multiplier. This one simple change will fix most of the problems with the game currently. Let me know what you guys think and if this would be too overpowered.

Thanks.

I like this change a lot, as I am a big (and possibly the only) climbing fan at the moment, but it would affect the already completed skills score so I doubt it could be implemented. The most major change to a game after MoA was the removal of the cap for elevation last year. However on the other hand there is an increased amount of negativity about this game and the manual does emphasize that the AWP and other things will change in the future because they know it is too easy so we will see.

Another change that I think works would be expanding the endgame to 30 seconds like last year and having it affect all corners which would also force prioritization of wall stakes and climbs (it also allows slower climbs) without changing skills scores.

While I think something to buff the wall stakes is needed and this idea is cool, I don’t think wall stakes and climb should be connected because it makes way too many points dependent on climb. 2 full wall stakes + 2 t3 climbs + high stake makes climb a whopping 60 point swing with this change (76 total), which is almost 47% of the new max score. Of course you’re never going to get full control of both wall stakes, but I still feel like this change makes climb too many points.
