Similar to the thread for possible Texas scrimmages, we were wondering if there was any interest to have scrimmages in Indiana.
We would like to get as many teams as possible to be interested. There’s no planning set yet, we were just thinking we might be able to host an event like this.
If we were to host, it would most likely be at the greenfield central high school. Greenfield is about 30 minutes East of Indianapolis.

Greenfield is most likely within a reasonably close distance to us; according to Google Maps it’s only just over 2 hours, which isn’t that bad at all (We’re used to driving 3+ hours to get to competitions).
The only possible issue is that we may not be done building yet; we haven’t even started, since our parts haven’t come in yet and I can’t take our Toss Up bot apart yet because a teammate is showing it to his family.
Once we’re done (maybe a 2-3 weeks from now, at the soonest? idk how fast we can build it) we would be happy to compete.
I know I would be interested (323Z and 323X), but we don’t start building our robots until August. Maybe have monthly scrimmages?
Oh yeah we wouldn’t do them until people are ready.
The only reason our bot is done is because I got impatient and took the parts home lol.
I know a few Steel Eagles would be interested. We’re going through change in management right now, so I can’t currently speak for the rest of the club except my teams.

There will probably be other scrimages, but we can only host at our school in greenfield.
I looked it up on Google and its a nearly 3 hour drive from Niles, Michigan to Greenfield, Indiana. So if you can make that drive, then as far as I know you’d be welcome.
