Hi guys i need help with potentiometer so when i try turning with an axle it only gives value from 0 to 244 is the potentiometer broken or is it something else
i am using robotc

Something similar has happened to us before. I don’t remember exactly how we solved it, but the first thing I would try is to use that potentiometer in a different sensor port and see if it does the same thing. Then see if another pot that you know works gives the same readings in the original port of the “broken” sensor.
I did that and i found out that the potentiometer is broken but is there a way to use the broken one because i dont wanna buy a new one so
As far as I know, there is no way to use a broken potentiometer. Sorry 
There is one way : as a non-functional decoration, but the other teams don’t need to know that. Make yourself look pro.
