Presence/Absence of Corner Gussets in the Climbing Zone

According to this Q&A response, the corner gussets (triangular shaped, on top of the field perimeter) will not be present at all on the fields at the 2016 VEX World Championship. I wanted to confirm and make this fact more visible through this more-relevant channel on the vex forum, since this may be different from what some teams have seen up until worlds.
However, I am still not certain how the total absence of triangular corner gussets in the climbing zone corners is interpreted from the official field specifications (“Appendix A Field Specifications”). My interpretation of page 18 of this document is that the corner gussets will be removed behind the goals to allow for the goals to fit without interference. Also, in all of the other graphics in the field specifications, including the picture on page 18, the triangular corner gussets are shown to be present in the climbing zone corners but not in the corners behind the goals.
Sorry if this seems repetitive, but will the triangular corner gussets be present on fields at worlds? Is this a new configuration of the field perimeter, specific to the 2016 VEX World Championship, or is this a different interpretation of the official field specifications?

Team should not rely upon the triangular corner guessets being present on field at VEX Worlds or any other events. They may be used depending on availability.
