Problem with brain and motors

Today while testing our robot, a motor failed to function. This motor would not work on other ports, nor would it even work on another brain. We replaced that motor with a new one, but after a few minutes it seems to just stop working. Same problem, same issue most likely. The light of the port doesn’t even light up.

What do we do? No other topics discuss this kind of stuff.

could be a rev10 motor.
several topics have discussed this, but see this one in particular.

My teammate and I speculate that its the brain that’s causing the fault. The program we use doesn’t even use Voltage Mode, nor does it do anything that can corrupt something. The other brain we have doesn’t show this problem, but only this certain brain does.
