Hello. I have been having problems with constraining on Autodesk Inventor, specifically with the drive shaft and the shaft collar.
It’s seems I can’t get the shaft collar to constrain to the drive shaft. I want the shaft collar to stay at where I’ve been putting it on the drive shaft and not move. Please I really need some help with this, its very frustrating. Any suggestion will help.
You have to do assemble and then angle directed between the screw and side of the shaft, then you constrain it to touching surfaces like washers or gears.
I would do a rotational mate to the bearing and then just move it along axle and mate to the wheel or gear.
