Hi, our brain isn’t showing up in the robotc or vexcodeiq software whenever we connect it by a cable. We’ve tried changing computer, ports, cable, but it doesn’t seem to work. However, whenever we connect a different brain, with the same cable, computer and ports, it does work
it could be a faulty port on the brain, i don’t do IQ so i wouldn’t know how to get around this, but if it is just the brain that is having the issue, it is probably an issue with the port on the brain.
Is it a school computer, the IT people lock them down.
Can you get the VEXOS utility for VIQ and try that. It’s my goto for brain checks.

It doesn’t work with my computer as well, and i can’t connect the brain to the computer to use VEXOS either. I did update VEXOS a few weeks ago as well, so I don’t think its that
Thanks for the reply, I do think its just the download port, but as far as I can see, it looks normal, but I’m not sure what else it could be
Ok, sounds like you need to send an email to [email protected] to see if you can send it back and get it fixed.
