Is robotc the only programming language we are allowed to use for turning point or are we allowed to use simulink?
I don’t think there’s any rules on what software you can use.
As long as you are using c or cpp I think you’ll be fine. I personally plan on switching from robotc to PROS.
If you are writing for the Cortex, there are a myriad of languages you can use, all legal. Intelitek has EasyC, PROS has their thing, and RobotC you already know. Heck, Robot Mesh alone has ~4 languages for Cortex on their site. As long as you aren’t rewriting the firmware, you can load pretty much whatever you want.
So we would be able to use the simulink/matlab block language?
Everyone answered the more general question so I will answer the specific one. Yes a team can use simulink/matlab.
anyone have any tips on the new programming language?
