Programming Skills Loading

Hello,

I am trying to create a programming skills program that uses the opposite team’s driver pre-loads but I have a question!

  1. Am in required to move my robot to the opposing team’s tiles to use their preloads or may I take their basket of balls to my original starting place before the programming match begins?

Yes you must have your robot move to the opposite tile to use the other preloads.

You must be in that colour’s zone to shoot their balls. You can score in whichever net, though

yes so programming it should be relatively simple, although you will need to make sure that you can consistently get to the same position and also consistently turn the same amount. This can be done with the Lets Make a PID Loop series by Martin Ma https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLH2Ojket-Dc37ockn4iestsgXWxmt_sna

I know I’m being picky here, but be careful because this is not correct. You must be in that color’s zone to load their balls, but you can shoot the balls from anywhere on the field. When small mistakes like this in wording get compounded by the next person basing their interpretation on what you said instead of the official rules it leads to a lot of confusion and frustration when it comes to a head at a competition. This is one of the reasons Karthik always says to include the rule in question in the official Q&A.
