We are a first year team that qualified for State in Indiana. I attended State last year and noticed that teams had items to pass out/collect. Is there a “go to” item that teams pass out or do you guys just pass out whatever?
Some teams pass out wristbands, buttons, stickers, decals, business cards, and even candy

Not iq, but once during a competition a vex team in our organization passed out a bunch of floral necklaces.
A 3D printed IQ separation tool is a team favorite. I like the one with the wedge on one end and a hole to help lever pins out on the other.

We’ve passed out little toy dragons at the US Open because they are the RoboDragons

Imo food is the best way to promo but you have to make it in a way so that teams remember you. If you want to go tryhard you can make a reveal and have it playing on loop at your pits with a bowl of candy or something next to the monitor/laptop.
