PROS bootloader error

When attempting to upload my PROS project to the cortex, I get this output:

Stopping user code… complete
Asking for system information… complete
Cortex Microcontroller connected on /dev/cu.usbmodemFA131
Tether: Serial w/ a USB cable
Joystick: F/W 4.25 w/ 4.54V
Cortex: F/W 4.25 w/ 0.00V (Backup: 6.78V)
Exposing bootloader… complete
Preparing bootloader…failed

This happens maybe 50% of the time on Windows and can be fixed by unplugging and plugging back in the programming cable. However, on a my Macbook Pro, This issue happens every time. Any solutions would be much appreciated!

One of my teammates has the same exact issue when using the macbook air.

Hey guys, sorry to hear this happening. To start the flashing process, Atom opens a window with your terminal and runs a command

pros flash -f "directoryLocation"

. You can manually run this by either typing this command in or pressing the up arrow to retrieve the most recent command. Run this command with the following modifications:

pros flash -f "directoryLocation" --debug --verbose

and share the output, which will help diagnose the issue.

I ran the new command and here’s the output:

Micahs-MBP:~ micahrassi$ pros flash -f “/Users/micahrassi/Documents/574C/PROS” --debug --verbose
